Kohila Symposium for the Woodfired Ceramics, Estlonia 2016
In Summer 2016 Mels Dees and Mariëlle van den Bergh were
invited to participate in the Kohila Symposium. Three weeks long they created
ceramic sculptures and participated in the woodfiring of an amagama and bourry
box kiln. The other artists were experts in woodfiring, woodkiln building and
ceramics. The group of artists were well known artists from Estonia, Ireland,
U.K., India, USA, Canada and Austria.
The Kohila Symposium takes place each year.
