Prayer Rugs, with two woven landscape images, which had porcelain mountains op top. Left: small images of real, existing mountains. Right: images of Shanshui mountains: idealized mountains from Chinese paintings. This work is about nature, how it exists outside us as nature, how it exists inside us as an idea of an (ideal) landscape.
